Anyone in the forum sail on Grapevine Lake?

Just checked into my hotel room for a convention and noticed the lake in front of the hotel. Took a walk and noticed a few sailboats on the lake. Looks like a great lake for sailing.

Tom - Grapevine is a hotbed of sailing and racing. It has the hottest C22 fleet going with several national champs there.

I have my C25 on Lake Grapevine at Silver Lake Marina, which is the marina closest to the dam. Nice sailing lake; not too many stink pots or crazies. This is a great time of year, temp and wind wise. I don't race. Simply relax and cruise.

Probably saw your boat (at a distance). Looks like that's the marina in front of my hotel.

I too have sailed Grapevine...can't say much for the piece and quiet as it is under the DFW traffic pattern.
