yes, it is just like a tuff luff. The pretty chrome piece at the bottom of the foil slot, (pick one) is the feeder. The upper swivel has a lower shackle for the head of the sail and an upper shackle for the halyard. You may need to use a pennant from your head to the lower shackle so the swivel can come to full hoist. You want the swivel at full hoist so the halyard doesn't wrap. (honestly I don't remember worrying about that but the guy who sails my old Merit with the harken furler has it that way) You do need to have someone haul on the halyard while you pre-feed the sail luff up the foil slot.
No particular problem Don, but this is only my third season with the boat. First season I was excited to sail and figured it'd be launched faster if the yard did everything, & it was. Second season, yard followed suit again. Now that the boat has been relocated, it's just dawned on me that I've never dealt with a roller jib before (my dad's CD 28 had a conventional arrangement...clip jib shackles onto forestay). Current yard will install it (they all will, for $), but I think I should know how.
