Thinking of purchasing a 1989' C 25' fin(shoal) keel. Did I miss something, the brochures are up to 1988? Does any one know if there is any differences?

To my knowledge the c-25 came in three keel designs: the fin at a draft of 4', the swing with a draft of 2'8" retracted and the wing with a draft of 2'10". To say that you're looking at a fin keel c-25 that is shoal draft doesn't fit. Best to check back with the seller and confirm the keel type and return here for advice. No shortage of that here.
You can call Catalina (818-884-7700) and they will send the original invoice for the boat as long as you have the hull/sail number. It has some interesting information on it such as original standard equipment, options that were added and original dealer.

I believe the 1988 model added the swing keel option, self tailing winches, trapizodal forward hatch, and other deck/rigging improvments.
With the 1989 model they changed the interior floor pan. The new pan contours to the hull better. The disadvantage is that the floor is not as flat, the advantage is a critical inch or two of head room.
