I am curious as to how many folks in the Western Long Island Sound area would be interested in a Catalina 25/250 regatta?

First place prize is $150- cash.

Starting area could possibly be around Can 1, near Execution Rock, but this is flexible.

I'm on the south shore but might give the Shinnecock crossover a try. What is your time table?

There has been some rumblings about a Fleet forming in the sound this spring. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/catalina25club/ is the address for the "Pre-Fleet". I would be interested in coming out to play either way.

Hey SJ. That is the correct address.
For anyone interest in the fleet check that yahoo group. We were supposed to have our first official "in water" meeting last weekend but had to set a rain date. Should be soon.
