Has there been any developments regarding this? Just curious if it's still on the table or a dead issue.

Hi Rick,

Yes, the issue is still being worked. Expect to see developments no later than our annual elections which will be gearing up in the September timeframe. You, of course, are always welcome to join the association as an honorary member. If (when) something positive happens in the future, then your membership would be converted.

The officers have been working on revised by-laws which will be presented when we are comfortable that the wording is right. One of the actions we are asking in the new by-laws is to become a Catlina 25 built Association. Each built class will have responsibility for their own racing rules. I sail a 25 and really can't address issues that are part of either the 250 or Capri classes. Therefore we want members of each class to decide on issues effecting each class.

More will be coming soon.
