Yes, a storage error. Photos are on a computer that we can't get to until Tuesday. But I have put the links and directories in place so that all I have to do is load the photos.

Wow! Unbelieveable that we won this!! Thank you association sooo much! Everybody submitted really wonderful pictures, and we feel
fortunate to have been selected.

Here is a copy of the email we sent to Jim along with our pictures - this will show how memorable this past Memorial Day was to us!

<font color="purple"><font face="Arial">Thanks so much for putting this all together for us!! What a blast we had today!!

First - yesterday my slip neighbor, Bill, promised me that 'some time' he would sail his Catalina 30, 'Jubilee', near mine and take some pix of my 250 since I can't take pictures of myself on the water!

Well, today I was sailing out just past the breakwater, and I saw him heading in. I called out to him, and then the fun started! He came about and he sailed a bit ahead of my boat and my wife hung over the bow pulpit to hand Bill our digital camera (he didn't have a camera). WOW! That was a blast! The winds were around 15 knots, small whitecaps around, and here we are sailing close to each other to hand off our camera. I was not at all worried about either the camera or my wife heading into the drink, I just kept my focus at the task at hand. We were both on a starboard tack, he was in front on me, his girlfriend Tina at the helm, and I came up on his lee stern side. Bill hung over his stern rail and the camera exchange took place!! As soon as the camera was safely in Bill's hand, I headed off a bit, and then the picture taking fun began!

Bill instructed Tina to head around and come up behind us, then in front of us - all the time we were calling out instructions to each other to try and get some pictures taken. We had to instruct Bill on how to use our digital camera since he didn't have one, and was not sure of it's use.

After he took about 10-12 pictures, we did the camera swap underway thing again. Same maneuvering - this time it went even smoother than the first! It was exhilarating to say the least.

What a great Memorial Day - one that we will definitely remember!!!

And attached here are some pictures of us sailing the Pacific on Memorial Day 2005 just outside the Channel Islands breakwater.
