I need to find out the height of the cockpit seats by the transom as well as distance between the seats. I wont be able to get to my boat for a while and I hoping that someone here might be able to measure for me.
I am looking at buying this cooler and I would like to put it in the cockpit against the transom and under the tiller.
Just measured the marine cooler we keep in the cockpit. It weighs in at 16 1/4" in height and the tiller just does scrub the top of it. 17 1/4" my be just a tad too tight...
I have to admit I have a cooler fettish. I'm embarrassed by how many I've collected over the years. I just got one of these http://www.american-outdoors.com/store/category.cfm?Category=7 the 36 pack size I think) and I love it. It's got more insulation than any soft-side I've found and it opens up really wide. It keeps ice better than the icebox in the boat and we have extra insulation, so our icebox is better than alot. And it should fit in the cockpit just great.
Thanks Frank! It's nice to know I'm accepted here in spite of my fetish This forum is great! Dave & I are gleaning so much useful information about our new-to-us C25. So I have a feeling you'll hear more from me in the future.
