Spike, Don, et al. I will be honest; I am getting frustrated.

Now that the 2005 Nationals have come and gone (and GREAT they were), is there some way to FINALLY get the 2004 Nationals results on the webpage? I have emailed both of you several times, spoken with Don in person at Cheney.....nothing. I think the 2004 Nationals might have been quite windless, but it was the biggest Nationals in many, many years. Come on....how hard can it be to post the results?

We took up Meinert's challenge and came to Wichita to support this year's Nationals and the Association, plus to give folks a chance to beat up on us (which they DID)....but, hey, it is getting easy to feel ignored......

The results from the "Forgotten Nationals" can be found at: https://home.comcast.net/~fleet94/race%20results.htm

I hope somebody finally posts this on the Race Results webpage....the 22 entrants DESERVE it.....

Anyone out there agree with me?

Bill, Derek, et al.,

I don't think our photographer EVER got all the photos posted that he promised. However...he DID make a CD of all the photos, from which I ordered quite a few. I sent him everyone's addresses and email addresses and assumed he had contacted you with the CD offer. If that is not the case, then I am in the dark. I suggest you email Dennis Thomas at FleetingImagePhotography.com and ask for a CD of the photos. if that does not work....PLEASE email me and I will do what I can to assist.

It is just WRONG to have to wait this long. I don't know all the circumstances, Derek, but if results can't be posted long before this, maybe Spike is "too" busy. I wouldn't know because she has never sent even a one sentence reply to the emails I have sent on the matter.

If someone has an answer, I would be glad to have it. OR, if I should be doing something else, I will do it. I did not want to go "public" with this, but nothing else has seemed to work..

Gary,
None of us can speak for Spike. Spike has done everything I asked for the '05 Nationals. Some a little slower than possible but never late enough to make a difference. (Reminds me of Martha.) I think there could be some connection between her responsiveness and how cute I am.
I do think that our association is so much more active than the typical association that a single webmaster may be unreasonable. I am very much in support of Spike getting an assistant who is responsible for posting things while Spike retains control over the organization, look and feel, and structure of the site.
Who among us has the necessary level of expertise to step up and assume that job?
(I am far too long from the fair to offer my own services.)

I know Derek is GOOD, but did he manage to finish 3 and 7 overall!

Gary,

Last night we had an officer's meeting, and when we got to web issues, we talked with Spike. She is aware of the need and will get the 04 results posted soon. (I hope)

"I know Derek is GOOD, but did he manage to finish 3 and 7 overall!"
Must have something to do with my split personality!
Derek
P.S. Actually, I think that the Race Committee had me confused with John Stansfield who bought my old main - he did put a "1" infront of the sail number, but it was in black and the rest of the number (2262) was in red.
