I am painting the bottom of my Catalina 25 fixed keel. I suspended the boat to paint the bottom of the keel and discovered that the keel has some movement from side to side. There are no cracks where the keel joins the hull. I haven't put the weight back on the keel to check the bolts yet. Is this normal? Help!!!
You didn't mention what year your C25 is; however the fixed keel should not move at all. You'll want to find the cause. Check the keel bolts to start with.
