We have just received confirmation that the Naional Assiociation has approved the reactivation of the old C-25 Fleet on Lake Conroe,(Conroe, Texas 40 miles north of Houston). We started the fleet with 5 C-25's and 1 C-250. If any National Association members would like to join, you can contact us at jmbailey@consolidated.net. For the last few weeks out weekends have been without "sailboat fuel" or full of lighting, but we are going to have our first fleet sail as soon as our weather pattern improves....Jay Bailey

It is so great to see Fleet #27 resurrected on Lake Conroe Texas. The only place that holds a boat rodeo. The boat rodeo was written up in the [url="http://www.mainsheet.net/"] Mainsheet[/url] awhile ago, it tests sailor’s safety skills, with man overboard drills and heaving to drills. A great and fun idea that develops their members sailing skills.
Just two years ago we only had four active fleets, with the addition of the Lake Conroe group we are up to nine active, vibrant fleets.
The fleets contribute greatly to the strength of the national association.
Congratulations to Fleet #27.
