I have a Princess stove top burner in my C250. The gas line is controlled by a solenoid that is located in the propane locker. We used the burner for the first time last night. I noticed that the Solenoid was hot to the touch after being "on/open" for a while. Is this typical?

Well, Randy, since nobody jumped in, I'll tell you more than I know... As I understand it (having looked at buying a C-250 a while back), that solenoid is activated by a thermocouple on the burner, which provides a constant current as long as there's heat, so the solenoid holds the valve open. If the burner flames out, the thermocouple stops generating the current, and the solenoid "lets go", shutting the gas supply off. That means a constant current through a coil in the solenoid as long as the burner is on, and thus some heat. How much is "normal" I don't know. But anyone with the factory LP burner should have the same thing.
