Got all the clevis pins with the small cotter pin holes changed out to the ones with the bigger cotter pin holes. So I can use the cotter pins shown to the right. The old clevis pins to the left. And only one more turnbuckle screw to change out. Bent like the one shown above.

The little cotter pins ( or cotter rings ) were a pain to work with. Just too dang small...

When I had my Hobie 17 I noticed that Hobie has monogrammed clevis pins with the flying H on the head, ever since I have thought someone should machine some custom pins for Catalina owners... just 'cause. No one would know you had them but you, but that is all that matters.

Monogrammed Clevis pins, brass cotter pins, rope bumpers, ...

What's the world coming to.. the next thing you know I'll be wearing a capt. cap, blue blazer with a monogrammed gold anchor, and an ascot!
