"22 pulled from water after sailboats overturn in Maryland". From WTOP.com news report.

The Severn Sailing Association started a Laser race yesterday, just as the cold front rolled in around 1430. Fortunately, all 22 overturned boat crews were rescued, all wearing wet suits in the 43 degree temp river water. Lesson to consult the weather report first hopefully learned.

(Al's political statement for the day) Jeez, what were the race organizers smoking???

You'd think so, but the winds must have been too strong for Lasers.

yeah, must have been a blow. I looked it up, the wind cutoff for the laser national championship is 30 knots. must have been something.
