Hah! Got your attention didn't I.... I was lurking about the Catalina 42 web site.......reading about weather helm, and fin keel rudders being longer than wing keel rudders, and unbalanced rudders, and redesigned rudders after certain hull numbers.......kinda like deja vue all over again....

AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!! I guess what is good for the goose is good for the gander. A very sad situation for Catalina if they can't even make a rudder correctly.
