I just launched my this past weekend. While trying out the head a foul odour came from under neath the V-berth. While pumping water through to flush I noticed that some bubbles were coming through the hose joint and the tank fitting. The joint is loose and probibly needs to be re-sealed. My question is, is the tank fitting an inside thread or straight fit.

It all depends on who put the tank in. If catalina put it in go to the parts manual and look to see the fittings. If it is an after market you will have to try and determine how its made by yourself unless you can post a picture for us to see.
