This september's issue of Cruising World has an in depth article on swing keel maintenance. It has a couple of close up pics of a nasty looking keel and cable attachment. Looks a lot like my old Catalina 22 swinger. It also has several pics of failed cables.
But we all know to do routine maintenence, so I know the article doesn't apply to any of our fleet.
