I certainly pray that all of you on the Gulf Coast will survive Katrina. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help out. Sure hope your stick boats are OK. But if they are not just remember that it is only a thing. It is your life that matters. Don't do like that family of five down in Miami when Katrina was down there. I heard about them being missing on their boat. But fortunately they were found alive.
I was in Miami during Hurricane Andrew. Needless to say it sucked big time. Katrina may be even bigger. Positive energy going to our friends on the Gulf coast from all of us. Be safe, and let us know how you are when this passes
I knew it was going to be bad, but not this bad. However my offer still goes. If there is anything I can personally do for someone from this forum in the devestation please let me know. I realize that you probably cannot even get this message. But if you do and you need me to mail you supplies or I would even venture to say you could stay on Chick-a-pea at the marina if need be. When hurricane Dora came through Jax in '64 my father had a Coleman lantern and stove mailed to us. Even though we had no power for weeks the mail never stopped!
