Been there a bunch of times as a kid. Last time was in 88. There was/is ??? an outfit in hope town. It is awesome, you will not regret it. You get there by flying a puddle jumper from fl-laud to march harbour. Then take a water taxi to hope town.

Hope this helps, Tom.

When I was there in 2003, I saw several cruising catamarans that were clearly charter boats. At the risk of stating the obvious, it can be done in a Catalina 25. You're gonna LOVE the Abacos!

The Moorings is what I intend to use when I go down. FWIW, The Coconut Telegraph is the greatest. I found that a couple of years ago and became obsessed with it. My family had a small cabin on Suagarloaf Cay, which is just off the Eastern shore of Marsh Harbor. I spend 1-2 weeks a year there from '77 to '87. The only sailing I would do though was in a sunfish from the cabin to Tahiti Beach on Tilloo Cut. What great adventures though.

For those that may not want to sail down there, there is a place that rents small cottages, with a 20-22' boat on Lubbers Quarters. That was my inent, but I may go the sail route.
