Has anyone seen the frappr maps that google does now? I set one up for the C25 owners to let everybody know where we are. If you are interested add yourself by going to http://www.frappr.com/catalina25owners To see how it works you can view the c22 owners frappr map at: http://www.frappr.com/catalina22owners

Fun idea Gene! Thanks. Although I'm feeling a tad lonely out here on the west coast.

Don't worry Pam, if the map keeps going the way it has tonight, You should have company soon!
Hey James, is there a good place to sail in Coeur D Alene, I have relatives that live there.

Pam, Don't worry. I am moving to Anacortes in the spring. (Sometimes I hate the Navy).

Sorry for the oops, Gene. Yes there is a wonderful place called Lake Pend O'Reille 28 miles to the north from my driveway. A very large, deep (1000 plus feet) and very few power boats to contend with. Lake Coeur d'Alene is much closer but is now so thick with go-fasts of all sizes that you really need a deck gun or at least RPGs to deal with them. Come check it out next Spring.

How do we get a link put on the members page? I will have to check out the lakes in ID, I think my aunt lives on Cokoalla Lake (I know the spelling is wrong) She always bugs me about coming to see her so I really should! I’m glad everyone has taken so much interest in the map.
Thanks
Gene

Very good. I'm in. I like the satellite imagery. You can zoom in on mine and see the Canangaigua Yacht Club on the northwest side of the lake. It is not a current picture and was taken after haul out day in the fall since the boats are on the hard or behind the club.

Hi George, If you like that you should go to Google home page, click on "more", then scroll down to "Google Earth". It is actual satellite imagery or the earth. Cheers.

I'm in! Only a few Florida folks - with all the (usually) good sailing weather, they're probably just too busy...

Kinda comical it puts me right smack in the middle of Whitman's Pond...which isn't even any good for sailing

Way cool, though....
