I downloaded the zipped logo files from the members section but do not know what format they are. Anyone know? I don't seem to have anything that will open them.

They are embroidery files, put them on a disk and go to your local embroidery shop, they are for them. If you want regular jpegs then search for our old competition thread and pull them off of the thread.
