Hi All, in the lighting goose neck for my old compass, there is a filliment light burried in silicone. The bulb is burned out and I want to replace is with an LED but can't find one locally. I tryied Radio Shack to no avail. Any suggestions? I dont want to pay for shipping is it is sold locally. Cheers.
Hi Dennis, If you can't find any local, this guy is pretty good. He has a wide selection, and will work with you. I got a bunch of LED Festoons from him and replaced all my interior bulbs. If your going to use just a single LED, you may have to use a resistor to lower voltage unless you get a 12volt LED. I've found them on e-bay before. I assume you will want a red one.
