A motley bunch they are... a bad bunch to be pressed into service... especially the one just emerging from a wood prison

Took the shot with crew displayed in front of my Mac Ibook and the C250 WB as screen saver.

Believe me Tom, the skipper is under lots pressure to cast off at the first high tide and whip that sad looking bunch into shape but... only after having completed the following chores.
You know the feeling...
April 2006
To Do list

Boat Preparation
1) Wash inside of boat with crew
2) Change engine oil and check leg for oil
3) Load boats inventory, beds stuff, blankets, galley stuff
4) Alter/raise aft mast support system to accept fully opened hatch
5) Design,blueprint & order seat for stern railing accept new BBQ
6) Trailer & test the boat to SS workplace for fitting of new additions
7) Take battery on board and test all electrical connections & systems
8) Buy 2 new spark plugs and exchange (keep old as spare)
9) Order new Honda 2 hp extended shaft
10) Finish dingy cover support bar
11) Sow & glue the dingy tarp including grommets placement
12) Buy and install shock cord for dingy’s tarp
13) Replace last years ships fuel in all 4 containers and buy new
14) Finish installing the propane canister with Velcro strap in galley
15) Test stove attached to new propane fuel system
16) Replace the 1500 lb hitch cranker (old one was damaged last year)
17) Store and test mast raising system with gin pole (check all parts
18) Strap turnbuckles together, port & starboard sides (Arlyn’s recomm)
19) Wax the entire boat
20) Clean & wax topsides
21) Take ground tackle on board and secure the bitter end
22) Oil entire teak interior
23) Install porta potty
24) Take on water and clean/test water system
25) Glue sonar transducer container in well housing and test system
26) Buy and take on board ship’s staples and 2 weeks food supply
27) Take on 1 month supply bottled water and store under V berth
28) Take on camping equipment & tent and large green umbrella
29) Store two rainbow colored golf umbrellas
30) Check all tools and spares and take on board
31) Up load all electronic equipment
32) Buy large supply of AA batteries
33) Take on ships papers and documentation
34) Select charts, harbour and way point books for Gulf & San Juan’s
35) Select & take on reading material & literature etc.
36) Install flag pole on stern
37) Check trailer’s break fuel level and buy spare DOT 5 break fluid
38) Test new propane sniffer alarm installation
39) Test all navigation equipment
40) Test safety systems, life jackets etc.
41) Take on wood carving, hobby, games and relaxation stuff
42) Sun shower
43) Dozen floral LED lights

Garden and outside work
Apply moss killer
Rake/bag moss
Seed bare grass spots
Fertilise the lawn
Order bark mulch & weed killer and spread around the house
Trim trees in front and the back of the house
Pressure wash driveway, balconies, gutters, glass and railings
