My Apelco fish-finder is on the fritz after almost 10 yrs. Due to the holes already in the boat and not wanting to make anymore, I'm considering replacing it with the Navman 3100 multi display (speed, depth and temp) or something similar. I did look at the Hummingbird matrix fish-finder's real hard, but they can't be flush mounted and with 2 rug rats running up and down the companion way constantly, I'd rather not go the swing arm route. Which leaves me with multi display units. A friend has the Raymarine tridata on his boat and it is nice, but is more than I really want to spend. Does someone have any experience with Navman or some of the other multi display instruments? Or any other suggestions?
