Happy Birthday Greetings to you!

My belated greetings took a month as I just saw your Birthday announcement. My time has been spent recently getting in tiller time instead of PC time.

This is my first year of boat ownership and sailing at age 65.
I intend to keep on keepin' on. This new hobby/life style/enjoyment/challenge is due in large part to your great advice, knowledge and references. Your contributions and positive attitude have helped me immensely.

Go have a look at the 'Lectronic Latitude (Latitude38.com) article on the singlehanded transpac... and the bit on the 77 year old making his 9th solo run from SF to Hawaii.
