Thanks for a great Regatta Duane,

Jake Al and I had a great time. Now that we know the seaweed trick we will be more wary going out to the course. You worked very hard to put this together and the whole association should take a moment and stand up in front of their computers and salute you. Then they should figure out how to become more involved actively. The Edgwater staff and members were gracious and friendly and made us all feel right at home. I look forward to my next national event but I will never forget ths one.

Thanks Duane and the Edgewater Yacht Club for a super event. It was great to meet all the folks who participated and to race as crew for John Vining. I am now more determined than ever to bring my tall rig to the Nationals.

Duane, thanks for a great race and all the hospitality. I learned so much crewing with Jack on At Last. The night racing was a first for me and very exciting. The blender party was a nice ending to a light air day as well.

Cleveland is a very interesting city, my wife and kids are worn out from the museums and the zoo. Hope to get back again sometime.

Pictures to be posted soon when I can re-activate my Shutterfly account.

Sorry about the muffins, but who among us knew the Edgwater Yacht Club would provide such a great selection of free coffee and doughnuts. We did have a great time and we will probably never be able to thank Duane for such a great job of organization. Hats off to the crew of the Flying Wasp.

I'm about to splash in Lake Huron for my summer cruise of the North Channel. I plan on being in Blind River on July 6 if any one wants to join.
