Thanks! I'll shoot for 15-20 deg, and see if I do better. Kinda makes sense to be over powered if anything, since would rather have more sail up for downwind and other legs of the race, if don't have time to switch sails.
Neat point about the wing keel, heeled over it would give nice resistance, hadn't thought about it. Wonder why keels in general don't have horizontal stabilizers, even small ones part way down the keel. Some boat maker at some point must have tinkered with it at some point. Probably how the twin keel design was born. But then any stabilizers would cause funky dynamics in swells and chop.
