1984 catalina 25 ft, what braker switches and battery switches (off,1,2,both) makes shore power recharge batteries

Missy, shore power is only the FIRST step to charging the batteries! The next step is connecting a BATTERY CHARGER to your AC dock power and the batteries. You do not need to touch the battery switch at all - that is only for selecting the battery to be used (after charging). You will probably need to charge the batteries one at a time, depending on your particular configuration. Hope this helps!

Step 1, find the battery charger. You may not have one. Step two, determine the quality and technology of the charger, If it is a modern 3 stage you probably have the ability to charge both batteries at the same time and the charger should be permanently connected to both batteries. Find the charger. Get back to us and we will tell you more.
