I have been checking Catalina Direct for a replacement Masthead Clevis Pin for the forestay on my 1985 C25 Standard rig. They do not list the size on the website. I have checked the C25 documents on this website and it doesn't seem to be specific to this pin. It does show the sheave pins. I think it is 3/8", but am not totally sure. I am 1 hour away from the boat and was wondering if anyone knows the size?
Thanks

Mike,
Catalina Direct doesn't list everything they carry on their website so you may want to give them a call. I'm sure they carry the masthead clevix pins.
Now I don't exactly remember the size (5/16"?) or length, but I remember trying to find one, but the local Chandleries didn't stock the right size.
Anyway call CD, and if you haven't bought their C25 Handbook (ie...parts catalog) yet, you should do so. Not only does it list pretty much everything you may need for your boat, it has a lot of helpful hints and information you may find useful.
I was able to find the forestay clevis pin on Catalina Direct, but no size was given. I called them just a little while ago and they indicated that it is 3/8". The Clevis Pin that is shown in the drawing is for the Masthead Sheave's.
existential - I would certainly not take it that way. This is my first sailboat and we have had it only since March. I didn't even know that McMaster-Carr existed. I certainly find them and add them to my list of suppliers. I like a bargain just as much as anyone else. My goal is to put myself on the boat and sail, not put my supplier's kids through college.
