Is there a source for Catalina White paint? Or a decent substitute from West Marina?

Are you looking for gelcoat, Bruce?

If so, this link might help...

Spectrum Catalog

Select "Gel Coat Products" then "Catalina".

If memory serves me, CD sells the Spectrum brand of gelcoat for our boats.

I wrote to Mini-Craft of Florida with my hull number and this was their very informative response. I will buy from them when I'm ready to do the job:

<font color="red">Thank you for inquiring with Mini-Craft of Florida for your gel-kote needs!

Regarding HIN# CTYK5668D787; The particular gel you are looking for is SPORT WHITE; Mini-Craft part number WT118. Liquid gel may be purchased in quart, gallon, 5-gallon & drum quantities.

We would also highly recommend purchasing the 1oz bottles of pigment used to make this particular color. Pigments are suggested so you may "tweek" the gel to the actual color that the boat has faded or oxidized to over time. Pigments may be purchased for $8.95 each.

Gel is also available in three different qualities or grades. The price increment is only $10.00 for each grade. The particular grade gel options are:
McKote (766)
Platinum (788)
Piranha (799)
There is no difference in the actual color of the product when choosing the higher quality gels of Platinum (788) or Piranha (799). When you choose a higher grade gel you will obtain a more structural repair that will last longer with higher weather resistant properties.

To accommodate the gel-kote we can pre-mix the wax additive in for a tack free finish at your request. The gel would also require a small amount of catalyst, and a sufficient amount of patch boosting reducer. The wax, catalyst, and reducer are all required components for performing a gel-kote repair. If you intend on brushing or rolling the gel rather than spraying, you need not purchase the reducer, however the wax & catalyst are still required.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further needed information and or assistance with placing an order.

Thank You,
Mini-Craft of Florida, Inc.
