My hustand and I are trying to identify the best "dust buster" for use on our Catalina 25. (Its all about suction...) We have the normal dirt that blows on board, etc. and are especially frustrated about dog hair. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yo Stretch....I have tried every possible brand of Cordless vacuum made. And I found the winner, Black & decker...worthless, others as well. The winner....Makita tools makes an incredibly strong and long lasting 14 volt cordless vacuum. I got it at a tool store in Sacramento...kinda spendy but absolutely NO frustration. The Makita comes with attach ments, but NO Battery. The vacuum is about $70.00 and you can get the 14 volt battery with charger for around $30.00. So for one boat dollar you can get a vacuum that will vacuum the whole boat 5-6 times without a recharge, and charges in about 20 minutes.///like I said spendy , but the darn thing works well.

Don't forget if you have a cigarette outlet on the boat you can use any good RV 12 volt vacume.
