Does anyone know the make & model number of the forward hatch on 1989 model C-25s (ours is sail #5938)? Talked to Catalina engineering and was told they have no records back to 1989 -- but it's either a Bomar or Lewmar; and probably a Bomar. Thought I'd ask the message board before calling Bomar or Lewmar.

I think you are correct that it's a Bomar. I'm going out to my boat Sunday and will see if I can confirm this.

It is Bomar, there is a sticker under the hinge side of the top with a serial number on it, maybe Bomar can cross reference it. Why do you care?

The hatch on my 1989 (#5946) is a Bomar. There is model number on the aft inside frame, a sticker. I called the company when looking for replacement parts (locking handles), etc.) a couple of years ago. They no longer made that model but did have a few parts that would fit. I was looking for a replacement gasket. They have two kinds and I don't recall the correct type but they can probably send you a piece to check for fit.
