I just got my C-25 this Summer, and right away I knew I had to fix the decore....lol...it was a wreck, to say the list..and had that I am old and not taken care of feeling...so I set to work. First things First clean the crap or and organize..put things where they belong. Now, find a way to get new cushion covers made, on the cheap, cause wifes sick with cancer that takes the cash...but low and behold, we have an aunt that has done that type of sewing before. so got cushions for price of fabric. My mom is doing curtains but havnt got them back yet.....Next the Carpet had to go, so I had got it done this week...So this is the before and after shots,

now the after shots...oh, if any one has got any hot ideas let me know

Very nice, You might consider having buttons added to the cushions, the newer boats have them and they keep the material from gathering. If your aunt cant do them then any upholstery shop should do them for very little money. You can see some on my 89 pages.
My wife is 7 years out and doing well, best of luck to you guys.

Hi Cap't,

You had my attention in the first two photos with the placement of the port-a-potti.

Your aunt did an up front job with the covers, cabin looks great.

Hi Barry,

WOW ... what a difference!

That carpet looks nice ... what kind is it, and where did you get it?

Keep up the good work. These old boats just seem to come alive when they've got an owner who cares enough to put a little money and a lot of elbow grease into them.

Nice work. Great color choice.
Pride of ownership shows.
What kind of shape is the rest of the boat in?

Best wishes for your wife.

Thanks for all the input, I will consider the buttons...nice thought.
The rest of the boat is in pretty good shape, I need to get the bottom fixed, I hava crack in the keel, and belive it runs under the bottom of the keel, so going to drag her down to KY lake to a place with a lift and get her lifted, and have the bottome stripped down and put on a good epoxy barrier coat, then a good bottome paint. Then my goal is to take good care of her bottom side, she was some what neglegted over the years, so I am going to do my best to get her fixed up, I love the way she sails compared to my old boat, a spindrift 22. She was a good little boat to learn on very forgiving, but I felt it was time to move up, and I knew from all my research that Catalina was alot of boat for the money, and I am happy with what I got. heres a pic of the bottom.....you can see she needs some serious TLC
