Hi there, I want to buy some books from Amazon, and get the association a little money too. I want to get some books by Jim Cramer, and the search link from our association link doesn't bring up his books. If I go to Amazon.com directly I can find all his works. Do we only get a rebate on sailing books? Of course I'm computer stupid so maybe that's the problem.
I wish I followed Jim Cramer's advice the other day and bought NYMEX, it has almost doubled since Thursday.
I'm trying to learn more about investing since I now have a new Schwab account, the purpose of which is to raise money for a 38 footer.
If you clicked on the link to try a search, then you went to amazon, the cookie would have still been on your machine and we most likely would have gotten the revenue. I'll try searching for that book right now.
The search on our store only searches our store. For obvious reasons, only boating, nautical maritime type content is available at Amazon via our little store.
You can still earn revenue for the association by clicking on the go to amazon link directly under the store search engine, clicking on the amazon book ad on the left or clicking on any amazon link on our links page.
Hi Duane, I clicked on the Amazon link under one of the book references. I placed an order for about 40 bucks worth of books and DVD's. There was no reference on my order at all to our association. Is there any way you can check sometime if we actually did get revenue from this. May I be so bold to make a suggestion? I really can't remember which one of our vendors we have links to give us a rebate, revenue, or whatever we may call it. Maybe if we linked all of these vendors under a single title, or grouping we could always check these folks first. I do more and more of my christmas shopping online (who wants to go to the mall? Not me) and would like to generate as much revenue for us as possible. Is there any merit to my suggestion? With the shopping season on us, we need to try to get as much revenue as possible.
