If you're looking for a motor mount bracket, check out the Swap Meet site. This bracket allows you to swivel your ob and not be cramped on the transom; ideal for a 250. Only minor negative, it extends the throttle and controls further aft.
Looks like a handy device but I'd be concerned about extending the 100+lb outboard any further aft. Isn't that a potential problem that will negatively impact the handling characteristics of the boat?
I also have the Catalina optional motor bracket. It certanly makes it easy to swing the outboard both directions. I suppose it does shift more weight aft which seems to be a bit of a problem but no problems with outboard hitting the rudder.
No issues with wobble. It is much stronger than it looks. I have trailered my boat from Portland to Seattle and back with the motor mounted on this mount, as well as motored directly into 3' short period swells. No wobble.
