Just in case I don't get the toys hoped for, I browsed around the web and found these
http://www.overstock.com/?page=proframe& prod_id=2189953

They still have some left in stock!

Paul, if you don't get the toys you want then you need a new strategy. The Admiral and I buy all of our own gifts for ourselves. I even wrap mine and write out the to/from label with her name on it! Never surprised but always happy on Christmas.

I bought Peggy something to wear, you know, when we go out for 3 or 4 nights. At the end of the days sail, it's nice to have a glass of wine as the sun goes down, a nice meal with some romantic music in the background on the stereo CD system, all ready for another cosy night on the boat. So I bought her something to wear.

This will be the first Christmas in 17 years I will not get something for my boat. I may go through some type of withdrawal.

Not sure what I am getting, but it is not for lack of trying. I sent her an e-mail with the url of several boating items. Let's just see if she can't figure it out. I was considering the automatic inflatable PFD, but after 29 years of marriage, I know better than to give it to her on Christmas..... I'll save it for valentines day....

Paul... on those binoculars, I would test the picture quality first. The sensor is only 2 megapixles. Not sure of the details in the pics you will get.

Paul, wrap the PFD in a Victoria Secret box.

Well now there's a thought. I wonder how the Admiral would look in just the PFD?

Mike, take it from someone who has been married for 33+ years. There is only one acceptable answer to that question. She would look great!

You know...now that I think about it you are absolutely right. Any hesitation and all would be lost.
