We've got one of those old woven doors that won't stay snapped open and is just plain ugly.

Any good ideas on replacements?

I just gave a friend of mine two pristine doors. I do not like how much room they use up in the passageway. I use a curtain that I can pull back into the head.

we switched to a curtain that is only used if ladies are on board

I let my wife pick out the curtains....but we sold the boat before we put them up. It gave her a say in the boat. Cheer.s

Cutains. I use two big beach towels with large tubular hems at the top, sliding on very taught 1/8" lines inside the head compartment. Works great, cheap to make, easy to clean or replace, two spare towels available if needed.
