HI gang, just thought I would thow up some pics of things in progress, 1 shelf, 2 access plate, 3 bottom Job, well enjoy, will post more as I get it done, I am headed to the boat yard to take more pics of the bottom job.
The head guy at the boat yard said it looked like it had been ground and repaired, poorly..so he fixed what was weak, then did the rest of the stuff. His main concern was the bottom of the keel it had seperated, but he glassed it and fixed it, up...just waiting on weather for painting now. enjoy.

last part was name that was put on a few weeks back in warm spell

Hi Bear, that all looks great. I like the scuppers, the factory ones did not drain very well at all. Why such a large access hatch on the stern? Since the boat is out of the water, if you have not done so, you might want to do the CD forestay/anchor roller mod. Cheers.

Your shelf looks fairly substantial. Where in the boat will it be installed?

The Shelf will go on the Stbd side, of the companion way, It fits nicely, it is large, but fits the space. Its desinged to hold my radio on the lower left, Ipod in center, Binos on right, then above that is whatever I put there lol...gloves stuff like that, and then top is same thing whatever. I needed some good storage, so built it...but let me tell you that was amazing to do, with all the angles that are involved, getting everything to look and fit just right..but its almost done, will post a pic of it finished and installed, along with a few other projects I am working on.
I will look into the bow roller, but with bottom job and other little things that I spent money, Gps, stereo, epoxy, sealeant, adjustable toping lift, gas shocks for pop top, inflatable life vest, replacement of instraments depth n speed, the holes where there so just replace transducers and put in new gage, new starting batter, new used genoa, vert glass, teak guard, two new dogs for pop top, new rub rail, new deck connection for mast lights, flag pole for old glory, ships bell, wood for shelfs, and speaker boxes...wood for new battery boxe under seat in dinnette, still have to wire that mess, old wiring looks like Fibber McGees closet....so not sure about bow roller but like the idea...lol...well guys got to get back to work cause still battleing my aged teak,,,...

OH, to answer the question about size of access hole, well hindsight is 20/20. I thought I was going to have more space, to to reach down to the lower gudgion mount....well what da ya know..I dont...so I have a big hole....lol....at least its got a nice looking cover, they had a smaller one wish would have got it...lol...oh well, what the heck, I know for future ref to really investigate such things much closer....
