I get annoyed by the announcer trying to create all kinds of excitement at the finish line by yelling for the last minute before the leader crosses. "THEY"RE NECK AND NECK! IT'S GONNA BE A PHOTO FINISH! BLAH-BLAH-BLAH, YELL-YELL-YELL... THE FINAL CROSS--WILL THEY MAKE IT??" (Yup, by 5 boatlengths) "Try to think of something else to yell cause I started yelling too early... YELL-YELL-YELL..." (The leader crosses 30 seconds ahead.)

What impressed me? The ENZ bow-man who pulled himself back up after falling completely overboard, barely preventing a penalty. Bonehead play of the series--Alinghi failing to cover off the line in race 3. You cross ahead to windward on starboard in the faster boat in a match race--you stay on the other guy like a fresh coat of VC-17! But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

How many kites can the Kiwis fly at one time? Three, but not well.

How many strings does it take to fly a kite? Two more than the Kiwis tried to use on the second kite they tried to fly.

It's gonna be a long day in the team room...
