I have a 1985 Catalina 25 tall rig and have recently broken the highest plastic sail slide that holds the main sail against the top of the mast. She still seems to sail just fine, but I was wondering how to go about replacing the broken plastic slide -- there was no damage to the sail itself. Thanks, Larry
The slides (called slugs) can be purchased from many chandleries if you are near a salt water region - West Marine, Fisheries Supply, etc in the Puget Sound region. Second choice would be to touch base with a sail maker. All sail makers will have slugs to replace your broken one with.
