Has anybody found a stain that's a good match for the reddish color to the internal teak (at least on my 89)? I remember a thread on this but could not find it. I can keep refinishing the existing teak but need to match a few new pieces.
As an alternative, you might want to use a cleaner/brightener on the older teak to get it closer to the color of the new pieces by removing some of the darkened surface oil. That way the interior will be lighter and more natural in color. Then something like Howard's Restor-a-finish in light oak (their lightest) will give you a uniform glow (theoretically).
