I am about to step the mast on a 79 C-25. The prior owner had suspect ideas of how to tension the standing rigging. I hope to do some racing, and would like a more accurate tension of the rigging. Does anyone have these tensions available?

Go to the "Racing Tips" section near the bottom of the page after clicking on the following link (part of this Association's site):

I don't know what's stirs the hornets nest more, rig tuning or teak refinishing? Anyway, check out this discussion that came up a few months ago. It is somewhat lengthy, but there is a lot of good stuff in there.

Also, in the Tech Tips section you will find a mast tuning procedure by Bill Holcomb that is very informative. I would have put a link here, but there appears to be a problem accessing that section today.
