News Flash!!!! Richard G. sails from Los Angeles to Catalina Island on the smallest Catalina ever made. Just kidding, this is Richard on his dink sailing around the moorings at Two Harbors. He couldn't tell me what the make was but it sure is cute and weighs a ton.

I don't think that's a sailing faux pas ... he's preparing to raft up with some other dinghies and party!
This is a photo of the dingy dock on Sunday morning at Two Harbors. Dingys are only 2 deep around the dock. The evening before they were easily 5 deep with everybody coming ashore for the big BBQ dinner and all the entertainment. You would just tie up to anything available and climb over the dingys until you found the dock to walk on. With the majority of tenders being inflatables there wasn't a need for fenders.

Okay, that did it!! Ed and Richard: I see you did the Rendevous, July 13, 14. We've done this 3 times in the past; had family reunion things to do on the same weekend this year. Seeing your pics, Ed, convinced me that my wife and I will plan to go next summer. Would be great to hook up with lots of C25s going over with some added cruising maybe? Any chance you two will go again next year? Gary/Susan Norgan Hemet, CA
PS - you can see "Classical Cat" moored at Two Harbors 2 years ago on the pictures page.

quote:
In something that size you just adjust your course to put the main into the path of the sun.

Ya, until you smack into a freshly Awlgripped Hinkley Sou'wester.
