There is a new C250 in our marina. Iam not sure if it a MK II or not. What I did notice was the genoa tracks have been move outward which allows the jib sheets to run outside the shrouds. That should give much better options for sail shape.

Has anyone ever moved their tracks to the new position? I am considering putting on a second set of tracks rather than moving the old ones for cosmetic reasons. Do you think there would be a problem if the new tracks had to run over the nonskid?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Uh oh. We always run our genny sheets outside the shrouds. Running them inside would be too restricitve.

The 2005 model has the jib tracks pointing directly towards the shrouds, so we could run the sheet inside or out, but we always have them outside as the tracks rarely get moved all the way fwd.
