I bought the same ones, my only complaint is that they tend to slip off seemingly every time I raise or lower the hatch. My solution was to use some silicon tape to tape them to the legs, that seems to keep them in place fairly well. I used the other two to put on the ears our our Danforth anchor. I'm not sure that was necessary or even a good idea but it seemed like one at the time, and I've not noticed any problems with it.

Have you used the anchor much, and do you leave them on while at anchor?
We leave them on, yes, they don't seem to affect the anchor in any way. However, don't take that to the bank, I'm hardly an expert at anchoring with exactly one experience under my belt. I've read up on the characteristics of both our anchors and I'm reasonably sure the protectors won't affect the Danforth's performance.
I've also added lengths of 1-1/2" vinyl tubing to the shank of the anchor as well as about the last three feet of the chain to keep it from banging the boat when I'm trying to get an anchor back into the locker. I don't know if either of these modifications will change the anchoring ability, but I know I feel better about my topsides.
