Just wanted to share my experience with my NAV MAN 3100 Depth Sounder.
Had it for about 3 years. The for no reason the readout went south.
A 7 would have only half of the number etc. So I sent the head back to Northstar for repair. Now as you may know NAV MAN is gone, and Northstar Tech took over. I was planning to check with them today
and check on the progress. When I came home there was a package.
They sent a complete new unit, including a new head and thru hull
for no charge. I fully expected to pay for a repair. Surprised me. Every once in a while a company just steps up to the plate and cudos to them,, they did

John, Now that is a company I want to do business with. Wonder what they do for their own stuff, install for free?
