I can't find the mast height for a standard 1984 Catalina 25 in the boat's specifications. Can someone tell me the mast height (we have a new rail bridge in operation and I want to see if I clear it without having to ask for it to be opened).

Mast extrusion is 28ft on a standard rig C25. (30ft on a tall rig) Be careful, that doesn't give you the height off the water. Somebody here will know that, though. I'd estimate 6 ft and want at least 10 more for bridge clearance. If you have a masthead antenna, calculate that as well.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of info here. Click on "Manual and Brochures" on the left of the screen and you can download an Owner's Manual for your boat if you don't have one already. I guess you could download one even if you do have one.

you can clear 36 foot on the water on the standard rig, 38 on the tall. I actually think you could get under 34 and 36 with zero margin for error (or windex, etc.)

Of course, you'll also have to trust the posted measurement of the clearance between the bridge and water...
