I was wondering if anyone is interested in exchanging a 1999 WB with a WK? I now have a mooring ball and plan on spending weekends on the boat (4 people in all). I will not need to trailer it much (twice a season) so a WK would be better for the headroom.
Maybe someone here would rather have a WB than a WK since they require to launch often? Of course a financial adjustment would be determined based on year and fixed equipment.

LOL. But I would rather exchange with someone from this forum. I'm not in a hurry anyways. Might end up selling the WB and purchasing a WK. Just thought the exchange might be good for tax purposes. After spending this summer in my WB I might find the headroom not much of an issue after all. We'll see.
Yes but if I was going to spend 50K+ on a boat might as well spend it on an older 270 or 30 footer of some type. Ideally with a trailer to launch and retrieve it then storing it in the marina parking (once a year). The ideal for me is to have full standing headroom, a shower, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. That would pretty much be the best I could do here in landlocked Alebrta. However if I was on the coast it would be a 32-35 footer without trailer (for the same price).
Because of the quick depreciation of the first year(s) I'm in the camp of buying a good used boat rather than buying new. Then again if I was to win the lottery moving to the coast and buying my dream Amel 54 would high up on the to do list.
