We will be pulling our boat from Colorado to the Chesapeake Bay area this spring. We plan on spending spring and early summer there. I was hoping someone could recommend a marina in the area to put in at. Would like to use a lift to launch the boat, a place to park truck and trailer would be nice.
Joe, My marina has a travel lift and a reasonable turnover of sailboats and powerboats all summer, but usually a waiting list. It's in a great location with interesting sailing destinations nearby, on the Magothy River off the Bay north of Annapolis.

You know, when you say the Chesapeake Bay, you are talking about a 160 mile long waterway with ocean sailing conditions up to small creek boating.
There are nice cruising routes from the Bay to the Delaware River and up the NJ coast to the Long Island Sound and New England.
...Or south down the ocean swells in the Bay to the ICW down the coast to Florida.
Which area or areas do you plan to visit?
In the Bay, there are little and big islands, and dozens of rivers and creeks for "gunkholing". A useful 2001 book of 494 pages by William H. Shellenberger is called "Cruising the Chesapeake, a Gunkholer's Guide", and it can give you lots and lots of local knowledge.
The Bible for cruising the Bay is called, amazingly, "Guide to Cruising Chesapeake Bay," updated annually by Chesapeake Bay Magazine. There are dozens and dozens of marinas that fit your description. You can order the book from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders, or wherever. It has a chart in the back listing every marina with facilities available at each.
As John suggests, you need to decide where in the Bay you want to sail. You can spend years exploring here and still not see it all. If you have questions, especially about the lower/Virginia portion, let me know.
I have a buddy from another sailing group who was looking into buying a marina in the Baltimore - Annapolis area to develop it into a Sailing Camp - to train folks in safe boating and general socialization skills. (I told him he had his work cut out for him) . . .
. . . but he also mentioned he would probably have a section of the marina for sailors as well. I pinged him today and will let you know what says.
