we just ordered a new 135 genoa and an entire new sail package direct from catalina yachts. (not catalina direct). the experience was wonderful. it only took 8 days to get the new canvas package delivered (in the new navy blue) and 3 weeks to get the new genoa from california to boston. everyithng was as it promised and very quick. if i ever need anything else for this boat, i will go direct to them. the prices are very good. WHO KNEW!!!

I've spoken with Catalina twice -both times my questions were of the newbie variety. They were very patient and answered my questions, then followed up with me later to make sure it turned out okay.
Great service for a guy with a 25 year old boat. I met a Catalina Rep at a boat show a short time later - we talked about it and agreed that it would be unlikely for me to buy any other kind of boat when I move up to 30+

I contacted Catalina by email a few weeks ago to get the specs on upper and lower stays. Gave them the hull number and year built. I have yet to get a reply.
I called Catalina Direct and was advised to ship the stays, they would measure them and make them. I got them back within one week.

One more thing, I know this is frequently talked about, inspect them carefully, all four had broken strands. My 250 was built in 1995 and they were the originals. Fortunately I had to take the mast down to replace the Windex. I'm glad I did.

When I bought my boat, I contacted Catalina and they emailed me the original receipt. I got a very personable email string going as well! They referred me to sign up here too.
