I think it has all been covered, but I'll just chime in to say that I have a Harken with pvc foil, and it is one fine piece of equipment. Of course it came with the boat. I am confident that if I were buying now, I wouldn't go the bucks for Harken. In our use, I imagine that any of the main manufacturers produce a fully serviceable product. More bucks equals less friction, maybe a longer service life, and more flash and features. You've heard from a lot of satisfied CDI users.

I blew my sails out in a storm and got new Ullman's and a CDI furler from Catalina Direct.

Installed it by myself, for the most part. Unrolled it and let it sit in the sun for a couple of hours. I took it over to a large boat trailer, by myself, and started duct taping it to the edge of the trailer. It was a little tough getting it started but I finished and then went back to re-adjust it. Left it til the next afternoon and installed it. Got help to carry it across the parking lot and could have used help for 20-minutes while I was taping. Other than that, no problem.

Love the combination as I had upgraded from hanks to slides. Good luck!
